Now we´re expanding our team with one more Process Engineer in Stenungsund (or Perstorp).

About the position:

Your main function is to globally act as process resource or process lead in investment projects, technical networks, improvement and support initiatives, and other technical activities and contexts.

Your main work assignments and responsibilities will be to:

  • Spread competence in design or simulation technology through technical networks
  • Perform pre-studies for investment projects in the relevant plants
  • Act as process lead in investment projects for relevant plants
  • Act as sounding board to process lead in major investment projects for relevant plants
  • Following up of critical production parameters
  • Analyzing capacity and margin contribution to identify step change improvements
  • Analyzing losses (DVC) to identify step change improvements
  • Work with process safety related topics exemplified by risk analysis
  • At all times follow Perstorp´s life saving rules and act as a role model within health and safety via the stated principles in GTI Health & Safety Policy and strive to further improve the work with Perstorp Careway.

The role includes a decision making authority within the context of budget and priorities agreed with team manager and full authority to stop any unsafe act or process that could harm individual or environment.

The position will be placed in Stenungsund or Perstorp depending on your preference.

Your qualifications:

You have a Master´s degree or similar within chemical engineering or previous work experience that could be considered equivalent.

If you have previous experience of simulations and modelling of chemical processes in AspenTech or Hysis and/or a will to further develop within this field, we consider this highly meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience of taking part in investment projects.

Further you´re experienced and structured in documentation of performed technical activities/projects and possess excellent writing skills and good proficiency in English.

With a process-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, you have the ability and drive to take lead in processes related to development and improvement and to contribute to skills development within the team.

You´ll be placed in Stenungsund or Perstorp depending on your preference.
